Welcome to 'Dream A Little Dream - Support for Parents of Premature Newborns'.
Who are we?
We are two mums who have been there and gone through more than one NICU journey. Between us we have five boys and one little girl. Four of our children were born prematurely and in total we have spent in over 200 days between us in NICU and Special Care.
We felt that we wanted to give something back. This is where 'Dream A Little Dream' was born. Not only do we create beautiful prem packs to send to families going through the tough NICU journey, but we are also a sounding board for families needing someone to talk to who have been in their shoes.
We plan to create a community full of love and support for these amazing little fighters and their families.
Why do we create prem packs?
As fellow ex-prem mums we wanted to find a way to give back to families following on from us through the NICU journey. As if you are not tired enough from pregnancy and then giving birth, you then have to start the long journey ahead of you through NICU and Special Care. Our packs are created with both baby and parents in mind. There is some pampering items for the parents along with beautiful keepsake creations for the baby.
Are you wondering who is eligible to receive a prem pack?
Our beautiful prem packs can be created for any family who have experienced the recent birth of a premature or sick infant who is currently going through the NICU roller coaster journey. Our team is located in QLD but we are happy to post a prem pack at no expense to the family, anywhere in Australia.

Are you wondering what is included in our prem packs?
Here you can see an example of a prem pack that was sent to a very special little girl recently in Sydney. Her pack consisted of some beautiful 00000 clothing and knitted items, prem baby sized singlets, a beautiful journal and pen for her parents to keep a diary of her NICU journey, some prem sized nappies, some breast milk collection bags, a prem sized teat, a pretty little bib and some beautiful QV products for both baby and mum.
What help does 'Dream A Little Dream' need?
We provide this packs at our own expense. Of course, to keep stocks replenished from time to time we may ask for some help with knitted items and any donations of prem clothing etc. We have some companies on board who have donated other special items, which is fabulous.
